The Laboratory for Systems Medicine (LSM) at the University of Florida has immediate openings for tenured/tenure-track positions at all ranks. LSM was established in 2020 and is part of the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine in the Department of Medicine, College of Medicine, although our research extends beyond applications to pulmonary medicine. 

Our growing team currently has 13 full-time computational scientists, including 8 faculty and senior scientists and 5 postdoctoral researchers. We mentor graduate, undergraduate and high school students. LSM is closely integrated into clinical and experimental research in the College of Medicine, with collaborations across the university, the nation, as well as internationally. Staff are engaged in both basic and translational research across a range of fields. This diversity of collaborative projects creates a rich mentoring environment for junior faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and students. 

Successful candidates will have an internationally-recognized computational research program that can attract significant extramural funding. In exceptional circumstances, researchers whose program has a laboratory component will be considered. LSM is committed to an inclusive environment that supports a diverse workforce.
