Position Description
Assistant Professor in Mathematics and Statistics - 128730 and 110170 The University of West Florida, Department of Mathematics and Statistics in Pensacola, FL, invites applications for two anticipated full-time, tenure-track positions (Positions #128730 and #110170) at the assistant professor level, beginning August 2024. Position qualifications are a Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution with a strong commitment to teaching, academic research, and service. Candidates will be expected to teach undergraduate and/or graduate level mathematics, data sciences, or related courses per assigned teaching schedule each semester; mentor students; conduct research and scholarly activities in areas of expertise; and serve on university, college, and department committees.
