Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at Hampden-Sydney College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position beginning August 2024. We seek enthusiastic candidates with a commitment to undergraduate education. The successful candidate will teach a variety of math and computer science courses at both the introductory and advanced undergraduate level. The teaching load for this position is six 3-credit courses or equivalent per year, with an additional 3-credit course every third year. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in computational or applied mathematics, data science, or a closely related field.
