Position Description
The Mathematics department at Morehead State University is accepting applications for a full-time position as a Tenure Track Assistant Professor, Mathematics. The anticipated start date is August 6, 2024 Morehead State University is located in Morehead, KY, a designated Kentucky Trail Town, nestled in the Daniel Boone National Forest, in close proximity to Cave Run Lake. This location provides opportunities for a wide-range of outdoor recreation activities. RESPONSIBILITIES: Teaches undergraduate courses in Mathematics; advises students; engages in research and professional development; and participates in departmental and university service. REQUIREMENTS: Doctorate in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Statistics or a closely related discipline required. ABD’s with completion by May 2025 may be considered.
