Position Description

The Irving Institute for Cancer Dynamics is inviting applications for a dynamic and highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Scientist to lead an innovative multidisciplinary project focusing on investigating the dynamics of the immune system in both health and disease contexts. In this role, the Postdoctoral Research Scientist will be responsible for the development of advanced mathematical, computational, and statistical models. Collaboration with prominent experimental immunologists and computational biologists will be a key aspect of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and refine mathematical, computational, and statistical models to investigate immune system dynamics. Collaborate closely with leading experts in the fields of experimental immunology and computational biology. Analyze and interpret high-dimensional data sets, employing a variety of programming languages such as Python, R, C++, Stan, etc. Contribute to the generation of impactful research findings in the realm of immunology, with potential applications to areas such as cancer research, cell biology, and ecology. Qualifications:

· Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics or a related field with a strong theoretical foundation, computational biology, or statistics, awarded within the past four years.

· Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including but not limited to Python, R, C++, Stan, etc.

· A demonstrated interest in immunology, cancer research, cell biology, or ecology is advantageous, though not mandatory.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and scientific dissemination.
