I. Introduction:
The School of Mathematics is one of the oldest colleges and departments in Sichuan University, tracing its origins to the establishment of the School of Mathematics at Sichuan Chinese-Western School in 1896. The School has two disciplines: Mathematics and Statistics, among which Mathematics is a key national construction discipline. The school is endowed with research platforms such as the "Tianyuan Mathematics Center in Southwest China," the "Sichuan National Center for Applied Mathematics," and the "Sino-Russian Mathematics Center-Chengdu Base." Qualifications:
Mathematicians and Statisticians who can led the mathematics, statistics discipline to obtain the international cutting-edge field research results， won the international award. Including recipients of prestigious awards such as The Fields Medal, Abel Prize, Wolf Prize, Chen Medal, and COPSS Presidents' Award, as well as leading academies of sciences in major developed countries, and other top scholars.
2.Leading Talents
Qualifications:
Leading talents in Mathematics and Statistics with peer-recognized achievements and influence internationally, possessing the ability in leading team members to research the international cutting-edge field problem. Including mathematicians and statisticians with the potential to win international award, the 45-minute speakers at the International Congress of Mathematicians, the tenured professors and associate professors at world-class universities, or outstanding scholars with equivalent standing at research institutions both China and abroad.
3.Overseas Young Talents
Overseas Young Talents in Mathematics and Statistics with significant achievements in their respective fields, showing potential to become leaders or distinguished scholars in Mathematics and Statistics. including associate Professor, assistant Professor or post doctor in world-class universities or disciplines or research institution whether in China or abroad; have significant academic potential outstanding achievements in the subject field.
4.Post Doctor (2 years)
Possess a doctoral degree from a high-level university whether in China or abroad; have strong scientific research capabilities and development potential in their field, possess independent research capabilities and excellent teamwork skills; Generally, candidates should be under 35 years of old.
IV. Salary and compensation:
