Position Description

Position: The College of Science, Engineering, and Technology seeks applications for two (2) nine-month tenure-track positions in Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics starting Fall 2024. Application review begins November 1, 2023.

Responsibilities: Duties include teaching mathematics courses at all levels with commitment to academic excellence. Additionally, the successful candidate is expected to advise students; develop the curriculum; establish and maintain a relationship with industry; serve on departmental, school, and university committees; perform appropriate scholarly and service activities; and demonstrate productive and active research with publications, presentations and grantsmanship.

Minimum Qualifications: 1. Doctorate in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics. 2. Record of teaching and scholarly experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Computational skills and understanding of and graduate experience in current trends in Data Science & Analytics.
