To learn more about us, see http://inmas.us The Associate Director works closely with the Director of INMAS Midwest (Professor Richard Laugesen) to connect universities and industry to arrange graduate internships in companies and government labs through the Internship Network in the Mathematical Sciences (INMAS); contacts and meets with employers, recruits and mentors students, including coordination of training workshops, and monitoring internship outcomes. The Associate Director interacts with students throughout the year, from initial admission to training workshops to resume reviews and on to internship placement. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a mathematical, statistical, engineering or scientific field with two years professional work experience beyond the degree. Experience coordinating complex projects or assisting students in solving problems. Preferred Qualifications
This is an Academic Professional position, appointed on a 12-month basis. It is preferred that the position be at 100% full-time but a part-time appointment could be considered. The expected start date is as soon as possible after the deadline date. The target salary range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000. Final salary offered will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, collective bargaining agreements, and budget constraints.
