Job Description: POSITION: Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Philosophy with a focus in Mathematics Education APPOINTMENT: August 15, 2024 RESPONSIBILITIES: The successful candidate will: (1) teach undergraduate and graduate students for mainly pre-service/in-service K-12 mathematics teachers; (2) conduct research/scholarly activities that lead to grants, presentations, and publications; (3) engage in service to the University and the community; (4) be willing to teach in the summer and to work with area teachers through additional educational experiences such as workshops and conferences. This position requires teaching a variety of mathematics content and pedagogy courses for future and current K-12 teachers.
