Position Description

Two postdoctoral positions in pure mathematics starting in Fall 2024 are open for applications at the Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland as part of the Dioscuri Centre in Random Walks in Geometry and Topology, led by Mikołaj Frączyk. These are pure research positions with no teaching duties. We are looking for candidates interested in
  • locally symmetric spaces, 
  • automorphic forms, 
  • asymptotic topological invariants, 
  • geometric and measured group theory.
A PhD in mathematics or related field is expected by the time the appointment starts but not required at the application stage. The salary will be competitive with European postdoctoral salaries and generous travel funds are available. Please apply by e-mail to dioscuri@matinf.uj.edu.pl.  The application should contain:
