The Department of Mathematics at George Washington University invites applications for a visiting assistant professor position in applied and/or computational mathematics. The position is for one year starting in Fall 2024, with the possibility of renewal for another year. The teaching duties of the position include three courses per semester, one of the courses may be an advanced undergraduate or graduate level course in applied or computational mathematics.

The minimum qualifications include a PhD in a mathematical science, and evidence of or potential for excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching.
