The Post-Doctoral Research Associate will join a dynamic research team under the direct supervision of Dr. Azmy S. Ackleh. This position offers a unique opportunity to actively contribute to several ongoing research projects focused on continuous-time age/size structured models with specific emphasis on understanding competitive exclusion and competitive coexistence, discrete-time modeling of predator-prey dynamics, and modeling animal dispersal with a specific emphasis on understanding tick invasion. The chosen candidate will work closely with a team of Ph.D. students, providing valuable insights and expertise to advance our understanding of these systems. Key Responsibilities: -Collaborate with Dr. Ackleh's research team to develop, implement, and analyze population and community models. -Contribute to the preparation of reports, research papers for publication in peer-reviewed journals, and conference presentations. -Provide guidance and mentorship to Ph.D. students within the research team, fostering a collaborative and supportive research environment. -Maintain detailed records of research activities, including analysis and modeling procedures.
