Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematics at Lehigh University invites applications for a Research Postdoctoral position in the research group of Professor Yue Yu starting Fall 2024. The initial appointment is for one year, renewable for a second year pending satisfactory performance and availability of funding.

Research topics of interest include numerical methods for data-driven models, and their applications to various science and engineering disciplines. This position is intended for a new or recent Ph.D. in applied/computational mathematics or computational science. Ideal candidates will have strong past experience in numerical analysis and scientific computing. Experience in numerical methods of data-driven models and/or nonlocal models is preferred but not required.
