Position Description
The Department of Mathematics at William & Mary, a public university of the Commonwealth of Virginia, invites applications for two 2-year non-tenure track instructional positions that will begin August 10, 2025. We seek an individual with expertise in Pure Mathematics, Statistics, or Operations Research and the ability to teach courses required by the major (e.g., calculus, linear algebra, methods of proof); mentor undergraduate students (such as by directing undergraduate research projects); and contribute to the academic life of the department. The successful applicant will be expected to be an effective teacher and will have a 3-3 teaching load. Applicants must apply online at https://jobs.wm.edu/postings/63926 .
