The Department of Mathematics at Lehigh University invites applications for Visiting Assistant Professor positions starting fall of 2024. These positions are intended for Ph.D.s with outstanding promise in teaching courses in Mathematics or Statistics. The teaching load is 6 courses for the academic year, typically 3 in the fall and 3 in the spring. The initial appointment is for one year, normally renewable for a second year contingent on satisfactory performance in teaching. The successful candidate must have earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a related field by the date of employment.
