Fellowship Description
The Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at the University of Alberta invites applications for postdoctoral positions in mathematics and statistics. As offers are issued by individual faculty members within the department, it is recommended applicants contact one or more persons in the department with whom your research areas overlap. More information about the research interests of our faculty can be found here: https://www.ualberta.ca/mathematical-and-statistical-sciences/people/academic-staff.html The length of the term of a fellowship is negotiable between you and the potential supervisor. The position may include a teaching component of, at most, two courses per year and may also provide funding for research-related expenses. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics, or related area prior to the start of the fellowship. Applicants should submit a cover letter including the names of possible research mentors, a curriculum vitae, a publication list, a research statement, and at least three confidential letters of reference. Review of applications will begin immediately.
