Position Description

The Department of Mathematics in the College of Sciences at The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) invites applications for eight (8) positions at the rank of Lecturer starting in Fall 2024.

Anticipated contract length of 1 to 3 years and will be reviewed at the end of the first academic year for renewal, based on performance. Appointments can be renewed by the Dean without limit contingent on annual performance reviews that meet or exceed expectations.

Salary Range: Up to $48,490/9-month academic rate.

Hours: up to 40 hours per week, exempt.

Core Responsibilities: The responsibilities of this position include teaching twelve credit hours each semester at the level of Calculus II and below.

Required Qualifications: A master’s degree in mathematics or closely related field, as well as a minimum of one year teaching and related experience at UTSA or commensurate experience at another institution.

 Anticipated hire is for Fall 2024
