Position Description
The Mathematics Department at The University of Tennessee Knoxville seeks exceptional candidates to fill a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position in Geometric Analysis, starting August 1, 2025. As a tenure-track faculty, this position has the responsibility of conducting teaching/advising, research, and service for the University. A PhD or equivalent degree in Mathematics is required by the time of appointment. Postdoctoral experience is preferred but not required. While the search is open to all candidates in the area of Geometric Analysis in the broad sense, preference will be given to those candidates whose interests fit well with that of the existing faculty. Evidence of potential for excellence in research and high-quality teaching is required.
