Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematics at North Carolina State University invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at the level of Assistant Professor beginning in Fall 2025. We are seeking exceptionally well-qualified candidates with research interests in Applied Mathematics. Areas of priority for the search include but are not limited to, probability and stochastic processes, control and dynamical systems, harmonic analysis, and partial differential equations (including stochastic PDEs).

 

Candidates must have a PhD in applied mathematics, mathematics, or a related area, postdoctoral experience, a strong research record, and a commitment to excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
