Position Description
At the Department of Mathematics which is part of the Faculty of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mathematics on the Paderborn University a
W1 – Professorship (f/m/d) in Pure Mathematics – Analysis
is to be filled as soon as possible. The employment is initially for three years in the civil service relationship, whereby the employment relationship is to be extended for a further three years after a positive evaluation.
We seek a mathematician:
- With a strong potential for excellent research in an active area of pure mathematics with a focus on analysis or a related area,
- who through participation at the project management level will strengthen the continuation proposal of the Collaborative Research Center SFB/TRR 358 “Integral structures in geometry and representation theory”,
- who actively participates in the tasks of the Department of Mathematics in research, teaching and academic self-administration.
Applicants are requested to familiarize themselves with the scientific profile of the SFB, particularly with the significant role that collaborative projects play within the SFB.
