Ideal candidates will have interest and experience teaching and mentoring students of all backgrounds, including those underrepresented in mathematics. Candidates should also be able to effectively teach courses in which student skills vary widely. While the ability to teach mathematics courses is most essential, applicants with the versatility to teach courses in allied disciplines such as statistics, computer science or data analytics will be especially favored.
