University of Michigan – Department of Mathematics
The University of Michigan’s Department of Mathematics is searching for tenure-track faculty at the assistant, associate, and/or full professor level. This will be a university-year appointment beginning August 25, 2025. Candidates should hold a PhD in mathematics or a related field; have extraordinary credentials, and show outstanding promise and accomplishments in research, teaching, and leadership. The following materials are required: (1) cover letter, (2) curriculum vitae (including publication list), (3) research statement, (4) statement that shows your commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, (5) teaching statement, (6) service statement, (7) names and contact information of three references, (8) 2 sample syllabi, and (9) teaching evaluations from all courses taught in the last five years. Application materials should be submitted electronically through the AMS MathJobs website. Applications are considered on a continuing basis, but candidates are urged to apply by October 15, 2024.
