Position Description

The Center for Applied Mathematics at Fudan University is an applied basic research center for mathematics to promote national strategic scientific and technological capabilities, based on solving key mathematical topics at the frontiers of science and technology, and is committed to the development of applied mathematical research that focuses on both theory and application. The Center invites young and promising applications in the fields of Computational Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence, Numerical Analysis, Optimization, and Statistics, to apply for tenure-track faculty positions. The salary is internationally competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applications are welcome at any time.

Qualifications: 
1. Candidates must have a PhD in mathematics or a closely related field; 
2. We seek candidates who are nationally and internationally recognized, have an outstanding research track record and outlook, and have demonstrated leadership in the development of the discipline; 
3. We seek candidates with a strong reputation for academic leadership and excellence, an outstanding record of achievement, and a strategic vision for disciplinary development; 
4. Ideally, under 40 years of age.
