Position Description
DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS
STANFORD UNIVERSITY
The Department of Mathematics at Stanford University is
considering applications for a tenured or tenure-track faculty position. A PhD
is the minimum requirement for this position. Applications from any part of
pure and applied mathematics are welcome.
We

the appointment begins September 2025.
The
salary range for this position is $130,000 - $158,000 for Assistant Professors;
$170,000 - $210,000 for Associate Professors and $190,000 - $320,000 for
Professors for academic year 2024-25
Stanford
University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of
what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered
to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but
not limited to) the qualifications of the selected candidate, budget
availability, and internal equity.
