Faculty Position in Mathematics Education The Department of Mathematics at Colorado State University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in Mathematics Education, at the rank of Assistant Professor. We seek to hire applicants whose research is related to the mathematical preparation of secondary teachers. The position will be expected to teach both graduate and undergraduate courses in mathematics, and be able to develop a strong research program that consists of publishing independently, securing external research funding, and mentoring graduate students in mathematics education. Successful applicants will meet the following required qualifications: 1. Doctorate in Mathematics Education, Mathematics, or a related area at the time of hire; 2. Research expertise in the preparation of secondary mathematics teachers; 3. Strong professional background preparing the candidate for teaching mathematics at the university level.
