The Department of Mathematics of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at all ranks in all areas of mathematics, including applied mathematics, data science, pure mathematics and statistics. Applicants should have a PhD degree and strong experience in research and teaching. Applicants with exceptionally strong qualifications and experience in research and teaching may be considered for positions above the Assistant Professor rank. HKUST is a world class research institution. It is ranked eleventh in Asia by 2025 QS World University ranking and No. 47 in the world. The Department of Mathematics has a strong reputation as a top research mathematics departments.
