Position Description:
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Michigan is seeking exceptional candidates for positions in mathematics offered in combination with the LSA Collegiate Fellows Program (LCF). These will be regular tenure track or tenured appointments at the assistant or associate professor level with commensurate salaries which will be enhanced by additional resources from the Collegiate Fellowship. The Collegiate Fellowships can be held prior to or concurrently with a tenure track appointment. The candidate is expected to have an established superb research program and teaching/leadership promise. The College of Literature, Science and the Arts (LSA) and the University seek applicants whose research, teaching, and service will contribute to diversity and equal opportunity in higher education. Collegiate Fellows participate in a program that includes faculty mentoring, professional development, and academic networking opportunities. We ask that applicants submit their materials to the Department by September 23, 2024. However, applications will be accepted after that date and considered when possible. This early submission is strongly recommended and allows us to assess candidates prior to the LCF program deadline. The LCF program considers scholars across multiple disciplines and is administered by the College of LSA. The Department can assist applicants in confirming their eligibility. To be considered, please apply at both mathjobs.org and through the LSA Collegiate Fellows Program (LCF) website. See each individual job posting for required application materials.
