Position Description

Postdoctoral Position in Random Matrix Theory and Related Fields 

The School of Mathematical Sciences at H.I.T. – Holon Institute of Technology (Israel) invites applications for a postdoctoral position in random matrices and related fields, funded by the Israel Science Foundation.  Applicants should hold a PhD in Theoretical or Mathematical Physics, or a closely related area of Applied Mathematics. 

The successful candidate will be involved in a number of random-matrix-theory projects led by Prof. Eugene Kanzieper [follow this link for several representative publications]. Qualified candidates with a previous research record in random matrix theory and strong analytical skills are encouraged to submit a letter of motivation, curriculum vitae, list of publications, and contact information of three referees to eugene.kanzieper@hit.ac.il (please use the pdf format). 

The initial appointment will be for one year with a possibility of an extension for two additional years depending on performance and available funds. The starting date is negotiable and subject to the security situation in Israel.
