Position Description
BRANDEIS UNIVERSITY Department of Mathematics invites applications for a tenure-track position in mathematics at the rank of assistant professor beginning fall 2025, pending budget approval. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in mathematics or a related field, demonstrate potential for excellence in research, and display a commitment to teaching. All research areas of mathematics will be considered.Applications should include an AMS cover sheet, a curriculum vitae, research and teaching statements, and four letters of recommendation, one of which addresses teaching effectiveness. Because Brandeis is committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in all areas of faculty effort, applicants are encouraged to address at least one of these values in their cover letter and/or teaching statement, including information about any candidates’ experience, interest, commitment or future goal to promote and build diversity, equity, and inclusion at the department and institutional level.
