Position Description
PostDoc positions in Analysis in PragueThe group of Barbora Benesova and Malte Kampschulte at the Department of Mathematical Analysis of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the Charles University Prague is looking for a Postdoctoral researcher for the project PRIMUS/24/SCI/20 as well as the OP JAK grant “FerrMion”.
Applicants are expected to have finished their PhD before the start of the position and should have research experience in one or more of the following:
• Mathematical analysis of Partial differential equations
• Calculus of variations and mathematical relaxations
• Mathematical continuum mechanics
We seek applicants who are able to further strengthen the group and are
willing to work on a broad range of topics.
Details of the position offered:
Start: September 2025 or later
Duration: 2 years (1 year probation)
Teaching: No obligation, but teaching opportunities might be arranged
Travel: Ample travel funds are available and expected to be used
