Position Description
The Mathematics Department, in collaboration with the Tandy School of Computer Science within the College of Engineering and Computer Science (ECS) invites applications for tenured or tenure-track faculty in Statistics, with research interests in areas such as data science, mathematical statistics, statistical machine learning and artificial intelligence, stochastic processes, or closely related data-centric topics. The successful candidate will be integral to the success of the new Data Science program at TU. Faculty in this role are required to teach, advise, and mentor graduate and undergraduate students; develop a strong, independent research program, develop a national reputation; and serve the college, the university, and the discipline. The department of appointment for this position is open and could include a joint appointment.
