Centenary College of Louisiana invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science beginning August 2025. We are considering applications from all areas of mathematics and statistics, both pure and applied. Applicants must have a terminal degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field, demonstrated strength or a commitment to excellence in teaching, and a willingness to mentor undergraduate students. We seek candidates whose research, teaching and/or service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to engagement and inclusion of culturally diverse audiences in higher education, and particularly in math and science. Successful candidates will be able to teach introductory, general education, and upper-level undergraduate courses. The teaching load is six courses per academic year. Centenary values interdisciplinary teaching and encourages faculty to contribute to and/or connect course offerings and scholarship.
