The Rutgers Mathematics Department offers various postdoctoral positions in Mathematics. These include several Hill Assistant Professorships, which are three-year non-tenure track, non-renewable, Post-Doctoral Research instructorships. Subject to availability of funding, the department expects to have several of these positions that will start in Fall of 2025. These positions carry a teaching load of 3 single-semester courses per year. Candidates should have received a Ph.D. by the time the position starts, and show outstanding promise of research ability in pure or applied mathematics as well as a capacity for effective teaching.

In addition, various postdoctoral research positions may become available, which may or may not carry teaching responsibilities.

Arrange for four letters of reference to be submitted, including one which evaluates teaching. If possible, the teaching letter should reference quantitative results of teaching evaluations.
