Position Description

The Department of Statistics invites applications for one research associate with Dr. Lingzhou Xue (https://science.psu.edu/stat/people/lxx6). Potential research projects include (but are not limited to) developing statistical methods and theory for high-dimensional statistics, nonparametric statistics, and statistical learning. The appointment will be for up to seven months.

A Ph.D. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or directly related field at time of appointment is required. The successful applicant will be expected to have a solid statistical background, research experiences showing independence and innovation, and demonstrated academic writing skills.
