Position Description

The faculty of Data and Decision Sciences (DDS) at the Technion - Haifa Institute of Technology invites applicants for a tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor position in the fields of Probability and Stochastic Processes. Candidates must hold a PhD degree and demonstrate very strong research potential.

The probability group at DDS is a subset of the Technion-wide probability group, which includes more than 10 full-time faculty members from mathematics, electrical engineering, computer science and DDS, as well as short/long-term visitors, post-doctoral fellows and graduate students.

Faculty members with tenure-track positions are expected to conduct research, to supervise graduate students and to teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Teaching in English is possible in the first few years of appointment.

Applicants should submit a curriculum vitae, statements of research and teaching, a list of publications and three reference letters.

Review of applications will begin on 31st of December and last until the position is filled. Availability of positions is subject to university approval.
