City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), a globally renowned university for innovation, creativity, and research, is seeking outstanding scholars for the positions of Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, Professors, and Chair Professors (substantiation-track) in Statistics and Econometrics within the Department of Decision Analytics and Operations (formerly Management Sciences). About the Department and College The College of Business is ranked 4th in Asia and 41st worldwide (2017–2021 UTD business school research ranking). The Department of Decision Analytics and Operations is internationally recognized, with a strong faculty recruited from prestigious universities worldwide. Duties Conduct high-quality research for scholarly publications. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Supervise PhD students. Requirements The Department seeks candidates with expertise in statistics and econometrics. Assistant Professors: PhD (completed or near completion) with strong potential for publishing in top-tier journals. Associate Professors/Professors: PhD with an international reputation, substantial publication record, sound teaching experience, and administrative expertise. Leadership in research and curriculum development is expected. Salary and Benefits The remuneration package is competitive and performance-based, including benefits such as gratuity, leave, medical and dental coverage, and relocation assistance (if applicable).
