Position Description

The Faculty of Mathematics at the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology in Haifa, invites applications for postdoctoral fellowships funded by the ERC Consolidator grant of Prof. Emanuel Milman on the topic of Isoperimetric Inequalities. Candidates should have strong background in at least one of the following areas: Isoperimetric Problems, Differential Geometry, Calculus of Variations, Convex Geometry, Optimal-Transport and Localization on Metric Measure Spaces. 

The position commences on October 1, 2025 and its duration is 2 years. Shorter durations or other starting dates can also be considered. Applicants should complete their PhD degree by September 30, 2025. Postdoctoral fellowships are research positions and do not carry teaching responsibilities. The successful candidates will enjoy a competitive salary and an allowance for travel and research expenses.
