The Department of Mathematics at SUNY Geneseo is seeking applicants for an opening as a full-time, two-year Promoting Recruitment, Opportunity, Inclusion and Growth plus (PRODiG+) Fellowship to begin August 2025. The PRODiG+ Fellowship is designed to (1) increase the number and share of excellent diverse faculty committed to advancing the ideals of diversity, equity, and inclusion; and (2) strengthening the pipeline for retention and support of these candidates. The Department of Mathematics (15 full-time members) encompasses both pure and applied mathematics, as well as very strong secondary mathematics teacher preparation and actuarial programs, with a growing interest in data science. The department offers a B.S. in Applied Mathematics, B.S. in Mathematics, B.A. in Mathematics, B.A. in Mathematics with Adolescence (Secondary Education) Certification, Minor in Mathematics, and Concentration in Mathematics for Elementary Education.
