The Centre de recherches mathématiques (CRM) and Université Laval are pleased to announce the creation of a postdoctoral position for young mathematical scientists for the academic year 2025-2026. The CRM-Laval postdoctoral fellowship is awarded to a promising researcher who has recently obtained or expects to obtain a Ph.D in the mathematical sciences, including in statistics. The fellowship offers an annual stipend of at least $42,000 CAD for one year, with possibility of renewal for a second year. This salary could be complemented by additional funds depending on the research team. Additional remuneration may be available for a scholarship holder who demonstrates the ability to provide excellent teaching in French, if the department has teaching needs to fill. The CRM and Université Laval are committed to taking into account the diversity and the systemic and individual barriers to access (for example, related to ethnic origin, gender, disability) when selecting visiting researchers. Applications are welcome in all fields of research in which the professors at Université Laval are working. Eligibility Requirements : To be eligible for a CRM-Laval postdoctoral fellowship, researchers must have obtained a Ph.D. after May 1st, 2021. Please note that while it is not an eligibility requirement, preference will be given to candidates who are not currently registered at Université Laval. The selected postdoctoral researcher will participate fully in the research life of the department, and will be expected to reside and work in Québec City for the duration of the postdoc. La bourse postdoctorale CRM-Laval est attribuée à une chercheuse ou un chercheur prometteur qui a récemment obtenu ou prévoit d'obtenir un doctorat en sciences mathématiques ou en statistique. La bourse offre une allocation annuelle d'au moins 42 000 $ CAN pour un an, avec possibilité de renouvellement pour une deuxième année. Ce salaire pourrait être bonifié, en fonction de l'équipe de recherche hôte.
