Position Description
Research Associate in Algebraic Geometry £48,056 – £56,345 per annum South Kensington Campus Full time, Fixed term NAT01911 About the role: Applications are invited for a Research Associate position in the Department of Mathematics at Imperial College London, funded by a Simons Collaboration Grant on “Moduli of Varieties”. What you would be doing: The successful candidate will work closely with Prof. Paolo Cascini and the algebraic geometry group at Imperial College on some aspects of the Simons Collaboration Grant on “Moduli of Varieties”. This position is well-suited for candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas: birational geometry, foliation theory. Further Information The position is fixed term for 24 months. The expected start date is 1 September 2025. *Candidates who have not yet been officially awarded their PhD will be appointed as Research Assistant within the salary range, £43,003 - £46,297 per annum.
