Position Description
The Department of Mathematics at Lehigh University invites applications for a Research Postdoctoral position in the research group of Professor Yue Yu starting Fall 2025. The initial appointment is for one year, renewable for a second year pending satisfactory performance and availability of funding. Research topics of interest include numerical methods for scientific machine learning and AI, and their applications to various science and engineering disciplines. These positions are intended for new or recent Ph.D. in applied/computational mathematics or computational science. Ideal candidates will have strong past experience in numerical analysis and scientific computing. Experience in scientific machine learning, computational mechanics, and/or nonlocal models is preferred but not required.
