The School of Science & Engineering (SSE) at Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco, seeks qualified applicants to fill a full-time faculty positions in Mathematics and/or Statistics. Successful candidates must have the qualifications and interests in teaching applied statistics courses and/or a wide range of Mathematics-related courses to support the school’s undergraduate programs. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field. The appointment will be at the Assistant Professor level, depending on individual credentials and experience. Evidence of an active research profile and willingness to fulfill faculty service expectations to SSE and the University is also required. Holders of a MS in Mathematics with reasonable teaching experience can be considered for a Lecturer position. The school also considers short-term Visiting Professor’s positions for up to one academic year. Holders of a MS in Mathematics with reasonable teaching experience can be considered for a Lecturer position as AUI is a liberal arts institution, students come from various disciplines and majors across the University. Prior experience in liberal arts education model is highly recommended and will be valued in the selection of applicants.
