Position Description
St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, seeks Assistant Professor of Mathematics to serve as a member of the faculty, holding appointment in Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science. The successful candidate will provide the full range of services as a member of the faculty, including teaching five courses per year at all levels of curriculum – from introductory courses to advanced upper-level courses – meeting ACM/IEEE standards for undergraduate programs. Regular teaching responsibilities include all levels of mathematics, specializing in algebra. Duties also involve ongoing professional development, curriculum development, student advising, and service in department/college committees. Salary: $73,950 - $76,014 Qualifications PhD in Mathematics and one year of experience teaching college-level mathematics. Publications or thesis in algebra.
