Faculty Positions in Probability and Mathematical Analysis
Department of Analysis and Stochastic Processes
Wrocław University of Science and Technology

The Faculty of Pure and Applied Mathematics at Wrocław University of Science and Technology (Wrocław Tech) is one of Poland’s leading centers for mathematical research. It comprises three departments, and the Department of Analysis and Stochastic Processes invites applications for four academic positions in the broadly understood areas of probability and mathematical analysis:

• One tenure track position (four-year contract with the possibility of permanent employment);
• Three postdoc positions (two-year contracts).

The expected start date is October 1, 2025.

Required language: English.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting scientific research in mathematics;
• Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Polish or English;
• Pursuing professional development;
• Collaborating with external entities on research projects;
• Contributing to the preparation of research grant applications;
• Performing organizational duties within the Department, Faculty, and University.

Qualifications:

• A doctoral degree in mathematics;
• A strong research record, demonstrated by publications in international journals within the last five years (this period may be extended for parental or other qualifying leaves);
• Teaching experience or demonstrated ability to teach mathematics or related disciplines;
• Very good command of English (spoken and written).
