The Department of Mathematics in the College of Arts & Sciences at Baylor University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start August 1, 2026. We are seeking candidates with research and teaching interests in any area of topology, broadly construed, who will contribute positively to the department's culture of outstanding research, innovative teaching, and dedicated service to our undergraduate and graduate students. Candidates will demonstrate a successful research record, plans for further developing their research program, and potential for obtaining external funding. In addition, successful candidates will demonstrate their potential as a teacher and as a research mentor at both the graduate and undergraduate level.
