St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN, seeks Assistant Professor of Applied Mathematics to serve as a member of the faculty, holding appointment in Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science. The successful candidate will: teach 5 courses/year, including beginning, intermediate, and advanced undergraduate math, and will develop/maintain active research program, including contributions to department commitment to research by/involving undergraduates. Salary: $73,950 - $76,000 Qualifications PhD in Mathematics or closely related field is required. Applicants should have expertise in applied/computational math and demonstrated commitment to and potential for supporting a thriving and diverse undergraduate math program through teaching/research/mentoring of undergrad research and advising. Applicants with experience teaching undergraduate math courses, especially courses with full responsibility, will be given higher consideration.
