I am advertising a postdoctoral position at the Humboldt University in Berlin as soon as possible in late 2025 (ideally 15.10.2025). The position will run until 31.12.2026. 

Candidates should have excellent research credentials in algebraic geometry. This position is funded by my ERC Advanced Grant "SYZYGY: Syzygies, moduli and topological invariants of groups“. 

Particular attention will be given to candidates showing affinity with one of the following topics: moduli spaces in algebraic geometry, syzygies of algebraic varieties, algebraic curves, character varieties and hyperplane arrangements, abelian varieties and K3 surfaces etc. Closing date is September 9, 2025.
