Position Description
The Mathematics Department at ITAM invites applications for a limited number of tenure-track faculty positions, beginning in August 2026. While priority will be given to candidates specializing in Numerical Analysis, Operations Research and Optimization, applications from outstanding candidates in all areas of mathematics are welcome and will be given full consideration. Applicants must: • Hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field (completed by the start date). • Demonstrate strong potential for impactful, high-quality research. • Show a clear commitment to excellence in teaching. • Be prepared to contribute to the academic community and foster an inclusive and collaborative learning environment. Teaching statement (including a discussion of commitment to inclusive pedagogical practices).
