Position Description

The University of Notre Dame's College of Science is launching a cluster hire to fill five tenure-track faculty positions in neuroscience. This strategic initiative seeks outstanding candidates with expertise in cellular, molecular, or computational neuroscience. These positions are part of a collaborative effort across the Departments of Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Physics and Astronomy, and Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics.

Key Highlights:

Positions Available: Five tenure-track roles at the rank of Assistant Professor; exceptional candidates at the Associate or Full Professor level will also be considered.

Position Duties: Successful candidates will conduct research, teach classes, and engage in service.

Research Focus: We are seeking researchers who investigate the development, regeneration, and function of the nervous system, as well as the molecular, cellular and network mechanisms underlying health and disease, detection, and treatment. Candidates working with computational modeling, the analyses of neural data, and/or various model systems, including non-mammalian models are encouraged to apply.
