Position Description

The Department of Mathematics at Vanderbilt University invites applications for a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor position to begin in Fall 2026. All areas of mathematics will be considered. Applicants should demonstrate strong research accomplishments and outstanding promise in both research and teaching.

Qualifications 

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. (in hand no later than August 1, 2026) in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a closely related field, and must have a distinguished record of research, excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level and demonstrated leadership within their discipline.
